I pretty much sucking at fishing, so I tend to stick to the smaller rivers/streams. I'm thinking of backpacking and fishing the Elwha, but if you guys have better ideas (almost surely) I would love to hear them.

The Elwha won't fish well until mid-late summer. Sept. is best month, by far

I agree, Elwha fishes better mid-late summer, although I've managed a fish or two in late June. Give Waters West a call, and don't forget to stop by for supplies if you go...
