What do you recommend as the best retractor for your staffs?

I've had good luck with Snowbee, Gearkeeper and Cabelas, to name a few. The T-reign one looks good as well. Make sure to get a heavy duty one, with a lock button, so you can keep the staff at your hip when extended. Here's a pic of the Cabelas one, quite reasonable at around $20-$25.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again… These are the best wading staffs around.
Sturdy enough for even the heaviest fisherman and they break down with ease.
Purchase a high-quality retractor and forget about purchasing another wading staff for a very long time

Just got mine a week ago. One stout staff that I know won't let me down. Got a couple of inferior staffs that will go to a new home. Now I just gotta get out and put it to the test.

95% of my customers (myself included) prefer the rubber tip, but I do have some hardened steel tips available, for an extra $10 (my cost to have made)

The thing I especially like about mine is that the heavy construction makes the staff sturdy enough to threaten those who encroach on my fishing area.

Had a test drive for a couple of days. These staffs are great. I could really lean on it and no vibrating or bowing. Solid. I gotta be careful and not get over confident!
