Road to Middle Forks Campground

Has anyone driven NF-5600 recently? Last time I tried (early March?) it was like it had been recently carpet bombed. Any reason to believe it might be in better condition now? I don't have a truck, which makes the back roads a little difficult...

Yup went all the way, the last bridge before the camp ground is a bit sketchy but you can make it.

Good to hear! Last time I went, the road was so rough I couldn't get past the Mailbox Peak trail head. I think I'm going to do some field research tomorrow.

I thought that they were going to pave that road.. It sounds like the people that work on that road used to work here in Montana. They take forever to fix any roads here in Montana.

They replace a bridge over an irrigation canal on Highway 91. It took them for about three months to finish it. Just a simple cement bridge.

Month 1: which way is up on the drawings
Month 2: make sure the bridge is designed for cars, not just horse and buggy
Month 3: fire up the smelter for the rebar
