Third week in September the wife and myself are staying in the Rock Creek area for five days of fishing. Anyone with recommendations for a guide for Rock Creek or nearby river?

Thanks,

Mark

I don't know how dead set you are on rock creek but the upper Clark fork usually is good in September, my suggestion would be the Missouri from Holter Dam downstream, call Channel outfitters channeloutfitters.com (800-325-7496) they are highly recommended. That time of the year the fishing gets stupid on the Mo and the fish are huge, bows and browns.

What is it. The guy asked about Rock Creek. Not the Missouri. Besides as low as the creek will be in September, why would one need a guide????
Exactly if he's going to travel that far and is not set on Rock Creek then drive a little farther and catch more and bigger fish. Channel Outfitters guides on several rivers not just the Mo. and provide lots of great info too, including Rock Creek. To make matters even more confusing for you pops I'm going to suggest to mpirak, Clark Fork from Superior to St Regis as well. as you can see options, options, options, Rock Creek is good as well but it always helps to have as much info as one can obtain.
