There is no question in my mind about St Croix's guarantee. I broke my 6wt 4 piece 3 times ( not my fault though) but I had to pay 10 bucks shipping for every return.... and by the way, they only replaced the rod on the 3rd return, the other times they tried to fix what was obviously a bad manufactured rod........ Did not have any problems with 7wt St Croix Spey, (touch wood)Winston, Orvis and Sage.
