Rolling Duffel bag advice needed

All,

I have gone through the paces and mental gyrations with all different types of combinations of bags when traveling on a FF trip.My wife and I typically take a trip with our waders, wading boots etc. I will almost always take my rod case as a carry on depending on the location.

I have not put down the money for a name brand rolling duffel prior to now mainly because it screams expensive fishing gear inside with logos from the top names. I even bought a used hockey equipment bag, but with the gear in it, I was over 50LBS. I also don't like having everything in one bag, but a may be having a change of mind.

Here is my question:

Do any of you own or have owned a rolling duffel from one of the big names like Patagonia, Orvis and Fishpond..? If so, have you liked it..? Pro and Cons..?

Thanks in advance,

Jamie
I use a High Sierra drop bottom roller duffel. Has made the Alaska trip at least 5 times. I prefer the ones at least 30", 32" is better and they weigh right at 10 lbs. They aren't off the chart price wise and look pretty much like everything else being checked. Like you, I carry on my rods in a double reel on Simms case as a personal item and my carry on bag is a Filson roller duffel that I have waders, boots, rain coat and a box of flies so I can at least fish if my checked bag doesn't show. Been doing this for at least 25 years and the only issue I've had was leaving Costa Rica. Wouldn't let me take fly reels as carry on so I put them in my carry on bag and checked it. Didn't want to do that but they showed up thankfully.
