I heard that there was a release of trips, but don't know if that was a fact.
You could try a call to the local WDFW office (509 662-0452). They might know.
This is what I can tell ya from years pasted.
The lake is open year round and fishing can be good year round.
Lack of stocking last year made for some pretty poor fishing last year.
I have not heard any good reports from the meat fishers so I have not been up there to see if the fishing is any good.
Normal would be good fishing from now until really cold weather in December, & January.
If you look at washingtonlakes.com they have reports up almost daily. Mostly gear fishermen but you get the idea. Lots of people catching trips casting black marabou jigs around the pens. A full sink line and a black leech or bugger should do the trick.
