I'm selling a non-factory Sage 379-3 LL B. Unfortunately I can't really justify having more than one 3 weight, so this has to go. I've fished this rod a handful of times, mostly on the S. Fork of the Snoqualmie--this is a great rod for that sort of fishing.
I picked this up used, so I don't know much about it. This is not a factory build, someone built this up from a blank. There's a name and date on the blank just opposite the Sage logo. As for build quality, I'm not a rod builder, so I don't really know what I'm looking for, but it looks well made. Pretty lightweight build with what appears to be a cork reel seat, snake guides and tip top look pretty much identical the components on the Sage rods I have that are factory builds.
No rod tube. There is a Sage rod sock, it's about 2 inches too long though.
Photos below, if you need to see more, just ping me. Happy to show you the rod if you can meet in downtown Seattle.
Looking for $280 with a handoff in Seattle. Will ship if you pay actual cost of shipping.
