Does anyone know anything about that river that goes through Salmon La Sac that flows into Lake Cle Elum....how's the fishing? Was thinkin' about going camping up there this weekend, but I haven't fished up there since I was a kid.

Thanks in advance!

I fish that area quite a bit during the summer. There is a good mix of cutts and brookies usually under 10", but the occasional fish over 12". If you take the road that goes past salmon la sac and follow it for a few miles you run into a small lake, well actually it's more like the river opens up a bit in a meadow, but still fun. It can get kinda crowded during the weekends, but it is still possible to find places to fish away from the crowds.
good luck

I might be old---but I'm good.

That's the Cle Elum river. I like you have not fished that river in about thirty years. It was or used to be good for small rainbows.
