Fish it with a Meiser switch.
Great year round rod.
First fish caught with the Meiser was an Atlantic Salmon in Pardise Pool.
Has brought to hand Kings, Cohoes, Steelies, and Browns.

I have friends who fish up there. It sounds like an awful place if you like peace and quiet. People seem to like 6-7 weight 2-handers and 7-8 weight single hand, brand doesn't matter.

Use a 10' 7wt Sage rpl with running line. But not switch.

Don't know why they call that chuck and duck. I never hit anyone with it.

Somewhere, I have some left over 1" gap treble hooks, with a couple oz of lead molded onto the bottom. Used them in the real chuck and duck days.
