Scotty has a new product designed for kayak fisherman. It is a transducer arm that fits into any Scotty receiver. You can get a gear head on top of it and mount your screen head unit right on top of that. Like a fishin'Buddy! Super cool.

I wondering if anyone has bought this yet, and specifically, if it works on a transom designed for a short shaft OB?

I didn't see a price for it, but sure Scotty has a hefty $$ with all the hardware and parts. Looks like it might be adjustable in length.
I made one for my pram from Scotty and plastic plumbing parts to mount a Humminbird Finder for a spring project. I was looking for one like this. Thanks

I made one too Mark, but I still may buy this Scotty product. I see they are asking $25 for it, and that includes a receiver on top so you can still put a rod-holder or ______ on top of it.

Then at the end of the day, just take it all off and stow it out of the way!
