I've received a couple of Sage RPL blanks and am interested in finding a true craftsman who may want to build a rod for me. I really don't have a clue as to what can be considered "fair" for fees but as expected, do a little checking around. I'm willing to track down the guides, handle, reel seat, even thread color.

We use Brian Timm's Custom Rods. I've yet to find better finish work. PM me for the number.

Marty Clark has repaired a number of rods for me. I can't find his number, but if you call Wholesale Sports in Silverdale, they have his phone I believe. He has also been giving rod building classes for a long time. He lives in Jefferson County just across the Hood Canal Bridge. He does a fine job.
