This is not "retro" in the sense that it is a piece of garbage. This is retro in the sense that I spent $750 having the seats re upholstered in contemporary fabric and color way.
The set was originally in a circa 1976 ski cabin that we purchased. I was debating what to do with it when I saw the exact chairs in Dwell Magazine at $1,295 each. These chairs also have return springs on them. rarity today.
We're relocating to Durango and this set will not be an aesthetic fit for our new place.
