Is there any website that publishes current water temperatures for local Westside lakes? An athletic friend of mine says the water temp has to be above 58 before she can start swimming.

Curious that 58ºF is about the optimal temperature for trout activity and feeding. Your friend wouldn't have fins, would she?

Seriously, I don't know of any such website; even the elaborate river gauging stations only record temperature at relatively few sites.

I know I've seen a site that list the temps for Lake Washington/Sammamish

Yes, the bassin should be turning on any week now. :thumb: check out washington lakes.com if you see a 4 or 5 star bass report. The water is above 58.
