My best summer run so far.
The fish in this river seem to fight harder than any summer runs I've caught elsewhere.
Maybe it's the relative closeness to the ocean, the water temps, the fast current, I don't know but they sure seem to take it to another level...or maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about.

First fish on a Spey rod - 1994, that is an old Sage Brownie and an LP7. She was a wonderful egg ferry and jumped three times.
