Okay folks,
I need the lowdown on putting together a shooting head system for my 6 weight. Cost is somewhat of an issue, so if there is a do-it-yourself method, I'd appreciate info on that too. Assume I know nothing about running lines, etc., because it's pretty much true. I've read a lot about shooting head systems, but I would love some tried and true advice on what to do; where to go; brand names; the works.
I plan to use the system for SRC fishing in the local salt, and Dollies in Alaska.
