I'm looking at building a shooting head setup for my 6 weight as well, and have been trying to find some information for a while. Try Dan Blanton's web page and his forum, do a search for shooting heads and you should find some stuff. Also, www.globalflyfisher.com has an article on shooting heads somewhere on there...
