Just like in fresh water. They eat fish.

:thumb: A fishing buddy recently took me to his "speciial" Dolly Vardon estuary and I was able to land a few on an olive/white Clouser Minnow. At the end of the day I tried a topwater baitfish pattern and had one strike. I should have used it early when the fish were more active.

P.S. Leland should post a picture of the huge Dolly Varden which he caught a few years ago in saltwater. It would make grown men drool all over their keyboard!
