Well I got back a little while ago. The Sauk is running pretty clear, and the Skagit looked good, but is starting to get really clear too. I fished all afternoon on the Skagit below the Sauk, and didn't have a take the entire time. This makes four months and no steelhead for me in Washington, I love steelhead fishing!! From what I hear, this week has been really slow, and with the weekend crowds I witnessed last saturday, I don't think I will be fishing the Skagit or Sauk without a change in water clarity any time soon.
