Nice picture of a nice fish. I am sure it was from last summer when the South Fork was open. It might help the fish to have it a little closer to the water and not over rocks in case it slips loose, but it looks like you have a good strong grip on it.
There is another post on this forum about "Holding Fish", particularly wild fish as the ones you'll find on the South Fork are, it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

Dude I love the porn! Sweet! Hold the fish any damn way you want except by the gills or the tail. :) Hold it over nails or red hot coals. Just don't drop it!:thumb :thumb We are all big boys and girls (well one girl CWU). Hold the fish 6ft over your head if you can reach that high. Just get him back in the water as fast as possible.

Back on topic. Great porn! If you guys want to download some sweet fishporn click here: http://www.utahflyfishing.com/index2.html

So sweet!

No worries guys.

She was a wild fish. After releasing her I came back to the same hole to hook the biggest one in the run and she was in the exact same holding spot as before.

Thanks for the advise but this was probably #500 on the sky alone. Releasing fish is just as much an art as catching them.

Now lest see some more pics!!!

I fish therefore I lie.
