Small Water, Small Fish

This may be my last trip to the li'l cricks this year. The fish acted like they are slowing down on the feed a bit. Slow motion takes on the dry, usually only after 5 or more drifts over the lie, and I even had to tie on a nymph dropper (the horror!) to get bites in a couple pools.

That is the way it is supposed to be. Light tackle makes for some
fun times though.
But they are gorgeous little rascals in a great setting & you had a damn good summer with them, Matt! I would have gone out this morning had I known that wind really wasn't going to show-up; oh well, I'm smoking ribs & jerky instead. It's all good (and Hank liked the bacon I did earlier.). Thanks for sharing!
Cool, both types of cutty live there.

It looks like they could eat a little more. Kind of on the Skinny side
