I have a friend visiting from out of town that has always wanted to float the Sol Duc. I'm thinking of taking him out there this weekend and doing the Rayonier to Leyendecker float in my driftboat. I've done that float many times before, but it's been 4 years since I've floated it. I'm looking for feedback on how technical that section is now and if there are any major hazards to be aware of. I know there are some tricky sections, and the last time I floated it there was a sweeper / log jam at the bridge takeout that made for an exciting end of the day. Hoping to keep the excitement to a minimum this time. Thanks
