Folks

Looking for some ideas for a quick one day trip for my son and I this weekend. This is his last weekend before heading east to play ball for a certain NC team.

We live in the Issaquah area and our normal haunts are the Cedar and forks of the Sno.

I am looking for some suggestions for some new water to hit with some, as he puts it, "larger" fish.

I have no boat so the Yak canyon is out. Any reasonable (sorry just had to clarify that) suggestions welcome.

The Naches is wadeable in most areas. It receives little pressure, and though hard to find, there are larger fish present. I've heard that some of the Peninsula rivers are seeing sea run cutts. That's worth a try as well.

Old Man ... that was the plan months ago to go hit the Elk River in BC and The Bow in Alberta, but the young lad did not want to do or plan anything. Now of course he does :)
