Is Sotar's warranty transferable? As in, if I buy a 2 year old raft from a guy, do i get to use the remaining 10 years of the warranty? Thanks!

I am thinking a call to 1 800 GO SOTAR would be your best bet at determining the actual answer, get the serial # from the seller and they will also be able to tell you how old the boat actually was and if it was sold to a commercial outfitter or private party too.

Yeah, right after I posted, I did just that. Turns out their warranties are good only for the original purchaser.

sotar is a reputable company and they are not going to hose you on repairs. plus if a boat was to fail from manufacturers defect it would probably do so in the first few times it was used. So if the boat is in great shape dont let the waranty issue be the sticking point for you not to buy the boat.
