Went out for bass on Saturday evening after I erroneously though that the wind was dying down. Caught about a dozen fish between 10 and 20 inches.
Reminded of a few things I seem to have forgotten over the winter:
1. It is really, really difficult to cast a big bass bug in big wind. Did find a couple of spots to tuck into some protection, but it was tough.
2. Even in the case of #1, if you go fishing it may well turn out OK
3. I like to tie poppers and streamers, but as always never changed from the diving frogs and black Dahlbergs.

Great start to the year's bass fishing.
