Steffen 7'9" 3/4-weight 4-piece Fly Rod

For sale is a Steffen 7'9" 3/4-weight 4-piece fiberglass fly rod. The rod was built by Dusty Smith, then of Bozeman Rod Company now owner of Livingston Rod Company. Mark Steffen is no longer producing 4-piece blanks in any 4-weight length; I greatly prefer the 4-piece configuration for travel and hiking-in purposes. This is a medium fast S glass fiberglass rod with a wonderful, deep flexing progressive taper, excelling at accurate and delicate presentations , roll casting and mending.
The rod and all components are in excellent condition. I have cleaned the rod and stored it dry after every use. Please refer to the attached pictures which corroborate the rod's condition. The rod has uplocking blued nickel reel seat hardware, a really nice wood reel seat, flor grade hand-milled cork grip, and a matching agate stripping guide. Ferrule gaps measure 10mm - 8mm - 8mm from grip to tip, really nice fit. The rod comes with a metal tube with brass caps and a cloth rod bag.
