I got an old STH Gary Borger series fly reel as a gift a while ago, but never really put it to much use. The person that got it for me said it was used in one of Borger's classes, so the drag is "disengaged" (which is what he does with a lot of his reels I guess..) For the life of me, I can't figure out how to reengage the drag, or figure out if there's some pieces missing. I guess I've never really opened up a reel before and examined the drag system. Being that there's no fly shops around where I'm at right now, I figured maybe someone here could help. When I turn the drag knob, the spring looks like it's tightening, but it really isn't. Here's some pictures, I appreciate any help:

judging from picture 003 it looks like the click pawl system is missing half of its components. there should be another arm with a tooth setup on the right side. you can see the marks from where it has been removed.
