So I'm with my in-laws for Thanksgiving and we are staying on Stretch Island for a few days. I brought my 5 wt for sea runs and my 8 wt in case there are still any chums around. Am I too late for the chums?

A little late for you but Stretch Island can be
very productive for SRC's. No Chummies now. If
you can get to the beach on the east side of the
island there is about one mile of great water.

Fished Strech for many years, my inlaws had a home on the island. Lots of cutts and silvers particularly on the bridge side on an incoming tide. Might be a little too late now but mid summer and fall used to fish very well.
