foul hooked a 6 ft sturgeon in a southern puget sound estuary yesterday. did not have a clue what I had till I seen it. on a size 6 hook. foul hooked another about 4 ft long then there were all around me swimmin reel slow just under the water. almost grabbed one by the tail. must have been 50 of them in that puget sound creek mouth. never seen anything like it before never have even seen a sturgeon in puget sound. but I tell you what that is one tug o war with a 8 wt redington. they can really move in shallow water when hooked with power like a skate. watched silvers jump over my line with not a hookup but the sturgeons made my day. Ben
