That's probably a nice rod for glass fans. But it's not all that rare. I see heavy line Fenwicks on the fiberglass flyrodders site frequently, plus occasionally on the many "antique" fly fishing gear websites that are out there. Still, that's a nice rod and at about the right price (might be worth $75 actually), so the seller clearly knows what he's got and what it's worth.
Super rare deal!
Saw this on craigslist today.I am drooling all over but unfortanatly I can't afford anymore rods right now.But what a deal.If it's the rod I'm thinking of this rod was meant to be a centerpin, single hand, hybrid.I think fennwick made this vintage rod for just one year.It has a the two hand extention.Looks to be in good condition.Great way to step back in time a fiberglass rod with a centerpin reel, wow heaven.You'll have to research it yourself.Check it out at.
