Surprise Beach Dump...

I fished a couple hours after work today on the incoming tide. Third cast released a 12" SRC.....then I had a frickin huge swirl 20' off the beach! It looked like somebody flushed a toilet under my popper! Didn't hook up, either a monster SRC or a coho....scared the shit outta me! I'm going with toilet as I did have a turd in my waders......!!

This is one of the things that keeps me coming back.
Certainly the humboldt squid.
The other day I did catch squid on my popper! 6" not 6'!
Probably a large Atlantic Salmon :D
That would be cool! Haven't caught one since the early 80's at Pass lake. I still think it was a toilet.....cause I didn't hook it!
I vote sea lion because I've had a couple make me shit my pants out in my kayak the last few weeks.
Nope...not a seal or sea lion. Too shallow, woulda seen bubbles or a big ass!
