For those who aren't aware, Blue Ribbon Flies has a new blog on their website that is quite informative. Last Friday, they posted a nice tying tip for using larger feathers on soft hackle patterns. It's the second video on the page.

Nothing original on my part, but I think both techniques are nice to have in your arsenal.
