Had a chance to fish a 4,000' elevation lake this weekend. The cutts were fewer but a little larger this year. A sporadic Callibeatis hatch spurred a few rises and I had the chance to land more than a few with this old 8-1/2' Phillipson Power Pakt. The last fish, a surprising 16" cutt, ran line off the reel and put some serious bend in the old bamboo before I could get it into the net.

Glad to see another fish caught by the old Colorado bamboo.
