Took my nephew Sam out to Tiger for our
yearly lake fishing trip. This is the third year
in a row that I have taken him out to Tiger. Now when he was
5...well you know what thats like...no attention span....when are we going to eat...
I wanna cast...etc. But this year it was all business from Sam. I rig up his spin rod
with a split shot a swivel and a brown speckle bugger courtesy of Stonefish. After rowing around
for a half hour Sam is still paying attention to his rod. Bam, a nice 10 incher, Is it a keeper... I ask Sam.
No he says we will get more as I toss the fish back. Then a few minutes latter a twelve incher to hand which Sam says is
just right for eating. Then Sams rod gets buried and I can tell It's a nice fish. I coach sam to play the fish cause its to big to horse in. He does a great job keeping the fish under control and as I net it Sam say WOW...a beauty of 16 inches. All in all
eight fish caught by the kid and as he said on the drive home "That was the best fishing trip ever!".

"And you know Stonefish could sell that fly in a store it's so good."

Obi....My Dad, and Grandfather, and Uncles would take me out as a pup
and it's been in my blood ever since....Hope it works the same for Sam.

Stoney caught some nice ones ( on spill the beans lake) on Sunday also.
