Just took a look at the fish run numbers over Gold Ray dam (just north of Medford, Oregon) and did a Whoooooa! Last half of December? 661 summer runs ... and that's 10% of the total run of 6600 fish for the season. All fish through the counter from Jan 1 are considered to be 'winter runs.'

This report from the Columbia Basin Bulliten ( just emailed out today) also reflects good returns on Oregon rivers.
