Hit up a certain double secret Ballard beach park yesterday morning- beautiful morning for fishing, rainbows (the kind in the sky) and a whale sighting balanced out the wind and rain I guess. Anyway, fished from seven to ten or so, saw three other bug whippers, no action... Until they left anyway, and I landed a 14'' sea run. (I measured). Good fight on a 4wt, and my first one in the salt. Oh, and at dead slack low tide. Huh.

Do you know how hard it is to take a picture with a cell phone without scrapin the fish across the barnacles?! But have no fear, I'm workin on convincing my photographer (gf) to tag along. And the quadruple hush-hush spot is safe, I'll never tell.
