Visiting Angler needs advice

Hi all,

I have frequented this board in the past, but mostly for buying and selling on the classifieds. As a northern Californian, I have not had the pleasure of fishing your great state...yet.

Now I've got a dilemma. I will be in Seattle on business in mid August, with 1-1/2 or 2 days to then make my way down to Portland for more meetings.

Give me some thoughts on where I should wet a line. I'm especially intrigued by sea run Cutts in Puget Sound, but any other great ideas are welcome. Will be on foot, but could drag a float tube along if necessary. A place to camp a night near the fishing would be great as well.

Thanks in advance.

Hey dude you could come over to the kitsap peninsula and fish many areas. There is a fly shop peninsula outfitters in poulsbo that will have up to date reports. They do a lot of sea run cuttys. Hope this helps. Of course east is the yakima river for solid rainbows
Wn60,
Mid August...... after or before August 15th?
