You are close to the Snoqualmie River about 30 min. good fly water and good scenery. Steel-Head should still be around for you just think light line and small flies. The river in most locations is only 200 ft across so if you are able to make 60 to 100 ft. casts your in the zone. Good Luck.

The Snoqualmie is a good choice but rather than steelhead go further up river and fish either the middle or south forks for trout. That would be roughly in the North Bend area east of Seattle on the way to Snoqualmie Pass. Both forks should be in prime fishing condition and a lot of access.

Steelhead are pretty iffy for summer runs. Not large numbers of fish and lots of river for them to be spread out in. Yes, there are some summer runs caught but very few compared to a lot of other west side rivers. The Snoq. is probably in the bottom 10% of the rivers for catching summer runs.
