Hello,

I am visiting Spokane from the 20th through the 30th. Planning on fishing for about 10 days. I have never been up to this location and will be staying in Spokane.

I am going to get a guide for a few trips but mostly self-guided walk/wade. I have been doing some research but looking for some suggestions on access points for good walk/wade stretches on any river and/or small stream within an hour or so of Spokane.

Also some fly suggestions would be great, I can figure the rest out myself.

Thank you

Within an hour, the river thru town is your best bet and other options if you can stretch it out a bit more.
Lots of good access from the roads and the Centennial Trail that parallel it both above and below downtown.
Silver Bow Fly Shop guides it regularly and keeps their reports up to date for more info.
Another good source for info is Wayne @ the North 40 Fly Shop in Coeur D' Alene.
