Looking for a good place to go wader fishing this weekend, I have a few buddies and we dont really wanna do any floats just some lazying around. We are in southeast washington, any ideas are welcome.

From where you are the John Day or the Deschutes. I don't know what a one or two day lic. costs. The J. D. has smallies. Quick drive mostly freeway.

Why do you want to fish for waders? Most of us wear waders and fish for fish. Bad joke, sorry.

Why not get out your maps and scout out some of the secret spring creeks in your neck of the woods, well, desert, not really woods. Supposed to be some good trout fishing here and there.
