A "DeLorme inReach" could have saved the taxpayer a lot of money and time. And kept friends/family from worrying.

Weird one
Been following this from Westfly. Sounds like the guide boat didn't make it to where gear guy had set camp so he reported it the next morning. Then today they are located fishing and having fun. But they spent the night in their fishing gear? WTF? Glad everybody is OK but that is either a major screw up by the guide or something funky went down...

Incredibly weird. And they were unaware people were looking for them!? When you don't make a prearranged destination, yeah, people will come looking for you. That guide has some serious explaining to do.
