What diameter logs does barbed wire wrap around best?

Thought an off topic discussion about a cow pen I'm working on would take our minds off the current conundrum in Puget Sound.

Barb Wire wrapped herself around a ~2.5" pole, not a log.

Barbed wire, on the other hand may wrap around a log, but I have no advice to offer.

Some wire is way stiffer than others. Kinda like men. The stiff stuff can be difficult to work with in your particular application, also like men. I'm not gay I'm just making a weak analogy.

Well sorry. My attempt at some humor. I had a load of barbed wire that I removed from my property to make it more horse friendly. Shit was so stiff you could barely handle it. I should stick with facts.
