I don't understand why you create a poll of 3 choices and then ask the open-ended question. That's quite a contrast. Of the 3, I'd probably pick Wyoming. Of the world, I'd choose Alaska or Patagonia.
Because I haven't decided yet as I stated. If someone gave me a better option I might take it instead. People can change their mind their mind you know?

Why Slovenia? If you've already fished Montana, I'd say Wyoming.
Google "Soca River fishing". If the pictures don't answer that question I believe the presence of Marble trout and Grayling will.

It depends on what you want out of a vacation.

What kind of experience do you want?

If you want trout fishing I'd go with an option that is closer to home and spend more time for less money.

I wouldn't go to Oregon on a relative basis it's stream trout fishing is poor. There is some good stuff just not like the Rockies now that the Deschutes and Crooked are nuked.

I would choose Montana over Wyoming but only because of the access the quality of the fishing is similar. Wyoming is very unfriendly to anglers.

Traveling across the globe to catch trout seems silly.

Head to Mongolia and target Taimen
It's not about the fish. It's about experiencing something I'll only see once in a lifetime.

Yeah, completely silly. Might as well finish all the emerald colored Waters in the US instead.

I've heard that about Wyoming before. I've read all these articles about Oregon being a Sportsman's Paradise. I'm basically trying to find the most beautiful scenery. Think mountains and trees and things. The amount of fish I catch on this trip is not really a concern.

If you are keen to travel internationally, and have the money and time, I recon it's a sin not to go. Wyoming will always be there, and will always be super affordable in relative terms.

Do you want to go to one spot and learn it or do you want to experience lots of things in one region?
