Looking to trade outright for a ready to fish 4 weight combo. I will consider 3 and 5 weight combos but nothing longer than 9'.

I have the renowned Winston TMF in pristine condition, it has been fished once by its previous owner and that it. Rod 9.99/10 (slightest discoloration on the top of the cigar cork handle) and tube is 10/10. This is the famous 8' 4 weight rod that bears the infamous Tom Morgan name. This has the Elder wood handle, which is hard to read on the cap which has faded..you will not fine a finer TMF anywhere!

This is as tough as it gets as far as my fly gear goes. I have every piece of gear I own except this rod and I have made the decision that I would rather fish than stare at just a rod. Therefore, I would rather get a rod/reel combo and actually fish! Nice Hardy or Orvis combo would most likely get you a highly sought after classic.

Any other pics or questions do not hesitate to ask.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but why not fish this rod? I have it, and it is a wonderful rod! It deserves to be fished. If you are not fishing it because you look at this as an investment, it has already been used, so it can't be sold as "new". Now if you want something that is different, ok, I buy and sell rods all the time just to try them. But don't get rid of it just because you think you can't fish it. Just my two cents. Good luck either way, but this rod should be fished.....as often as possible.
