I'm looking to make my own intermediate Skagit for my single hander by cutting up a different line. Rather than buying a pack of these does anyone have one sitting around that they'd be willing to get rid of for a couple bucks?

Just Google "making braided fly line loops", and make your own....it's cheaper than buying them pre-made, pretty easy to do, and you can make the loop as long as you want, to accommodate your coiled-up shooting heads and/or sink tips.

Yep not too hard to make yourself. If you're interested I have a spool of the braided mono and would be happy to send you some as Ill never use the whole spool in my lifetime.

If you're not in a huge hurry I probably have a Rio loop at home. I'm on the road for another couple days but could check when I get home and drop it in the mail.

Really though I'd consider making your own. Doesn't take long to learn and then you'll never have to worry about not having one again.

This is a great resource. I learned how to make them after SF shared this link with me. Good stuff
I also have one or two spools of cortland braided mono if you don't find the size you need I am happy to send you a long piece. Like Nick, more than I will ever need.

I also bought individual braided loops from a guy out of the Delta in California, off eBay. He is super cool and full of info. Even invited me fishing the Delta!

Thanks guys. Someone from the forum is sending me one. If I get more into this I'll buy a spool for braided mono and figure it out on my own.

I appreciate the offers and if something falls through I'll get a hold of someone for advice/line.
I've got 50# chartreuse cortland and 35# white gudebrod, pop a note and will send a few feet.

Blantons site is full of tid bits like this...
