Check out the 8 wt rods listed in this classified section. Not sure what you are looking for but the Fenwick Aetnos rod is a heck of a rod for the money. I have one and it casts great. The cork and reel seat are not high quality but serviceable. This rod won a 8 wt shootout as best budget rod in 8 wt class

I did see those listings. Was hoping to find something more in the class of an older Sage or Loomis.

I also have a Sage Motive 9' 8wt. new never cast, comes w/sock, tube and blank card. It's more than your $350 budget.
TFO Axiom 9' 8wt also new never cast.
