Just sayin' if you have not yet taken a short drive to put a line on one and cast it, why not give it a go. 3 and 5wt are available in 6pc pack rods, all weights built are 4pc.
I've got a 2wt for those hike in small water spots and for making the 6-10" fish feel like a monster.
