Hi all, been wanting to get a new beach setup, and thought I'd try this route since I haven't been able to scrape up any cash lately. I have a Winston BIIx 9' 5 wt purchased off this forum. In the year and a half I have had it I've fished it maybe a dozen times. The rod has no flaws that I can see, perhaps a slight darkening of the cork if anything. The rod does have the original owners name on the blank, but its hardly noticable. I'd like to trade for either a 9'-10' 6 wt fast action rod of similar quality, or perhaps a 4-6' switch setup. If anyone is interested let me know what you got and we'll see what we can work out.

I'll put the rod up for sale if I have to, just wanting to avoid that because if I get cash in my hands it would be far too easy for it to head to bills instead of a beach rod.

Yeah it works great they sell the rod for you, they take 10% for shipping, posting and everything else and apply the rest towards a inshop purchase!

Worked out a deal for a TFO TICRX 9' 6 wt, Orvis Battenkill LA and a custom shooting head. Gonna hit the beach for a couple hours after work tomorrow and give it a shot.
