I'm guessin' the fish have all turned into rainbow troutsicles. It's been pretty cold over here on the eastside.

Drove to Yakima through the canyon yesterday. It's all iced up, not much area to throw a fly. I did see 3 large Big Horn Rams right next to the road just past Big Horn, 8 bald eagles, a herd of mule deer. I enjoy driving the canyon in winter, you see lots of wild life.

I snapped a few pictures yesterday when driving through the canyon (links below). I had my fly rod in the truck in hopes of hitting a whitefish hole or two on the way back from a meeting, but conditions didn't provide. The whitefishing below Roza will be good as soon as we get some more open water. It's supposed to warm up a hair. I've got my fingers crossed!
