i was fishing the upper river on sunday and i saw lots of midges comming off the water. Saw about 7 fish feeding but only landed 2 on midge nymphs this weekend i am going to try it again. With the recent warm weather will the hatches come early this year thanks to the warmest january on record not complaning because that means throwing drys is closer. what you think

I'll be watching water temps and consulting the hatch chart, and last year's journals. I think the relatively "dry" winter so far should have an impact on flows and hatches too.
